It is a good product but the battery dies quickly. Others than that it is great. Unknown on 28th Jun 2017
First off it is a very nice light. Battery lasts a good amount of time and mounts to my bow with ease. I bought this light to replace and old walmart special kind of light that worked great for years but eventually died. The problem for me is their switch. I ordered with the double switch assuming that one button would be high and the other low. That's not how it works. After a conversation with someone there they explained to me that it's a memory thing so if you want the light to go one low or high everytime then you have to hold the switch on with the light on low or high for 2-4 seconds then it will turn on low or high everytime you push the button, as long as you hold it for more than the 2-4 seconds. What's the point of having 2 buttons then if they both do the same thing. Also I must say the guy I talked to was very courteous and helpful. Again it is a good light nice and bright when you want it to and just low enough when you need it to be. Louis on 1st Mar 2017
In the 15 years I have been hunting with a crossbow I have tried just about every hunting light on the market. When the first bowlite came out I bought one, mounted it on my Horton and was pleased with it's performance. Thru the years the products have evolved and I have bought and mounted all generations of The Bowlite. The most recent is the Gen 4 . I mounted it with the green LED on a new PSE Fang crossbow. I like the size, it's smaller than the gen 3 and doesn't take much space on the bow. The two mode option is what I got , I liked that on the gen 3 also. First night out hunting pigs I didn't get to use the light on the first shot, some sow's and footballs came out before dark and I got a shot on one of the sows. After dark a boar came out and I could see just enough to bracket it in the scope. Pressed the Bowlite switch and lit it up , the pig didn't move at all, I lined up my shot and fired. This light works as advertised ! Very well made ! 2 rechargeable batteries and a charger come with the kit. After going thru at least a dozen lights I have been stuck on "The Bowlite" products. You can see my bow and the boar on facebook or texascrossbowhuntersclub sites. Joe Sills aka BlackBoarDown on 18th Jan 2017
